The referee is not helping, the ruck is a mess very rarely are both teams markers straight.....added to this either Australia are sprinting off the line im sure they are off side..

I'm all for developing the game, but let's have the best option as the 4th team. The best second tier NH team should play the best second tier SH team to qualify, no matter where the tournament is held.

This is the last Four Nations so talk of reform etc doesn't really matter. I think in retrospect when we assess the 'success' of the Four Nations it hasn't ever helped the 4th nation, bar maybe Samoa last time.

Samoa were good to watch and very competitive last time. They gave England a good game and should have beaten the Kiwis. The Pacific teams are really on the up though. They have great teams but lack any sort of halfback to take advantage of the speed and size they have. These guys are the ones that need more exposure to the top tier nations

The Northern Hemisphere teams need to be playing more regularly, and against the Pacific nations. Otherwise the likes of Samoa/Fiji will create a 'upper Second Tier'.

Anyway, not a bad end to the half that!

Australia have scored 4 tries off the back of Scottish mistakes. Just hold the ball and they will do ok...though in saying that the Scottish forwards are getting smashed.

The try to Scotland before halftime will go two ways, help motivate Scotland or motivate Australia to turn the heat up.

Anyone of the european teams would have done....

France would have been the better option as they would have thrown more at the Scottish line. Really surprised thew Kiwis didnt arrange a warm up match in England.

Oh well lets hope Scotland put a on a better display in the second half or else its going to be a record loss in the four nations.

Scotland have done well for the first 13 mins in the second half...two brain explosions while on attack have hurt them.
