Ugh, I spent all that time and made an error in the Thread Title. Can a Mod change 'Round Two' to Round Three' please?

~~~~
I thought I would kick this Thread off early, as it's easily the most anticipated and important match of this rather ho-hum Four Nations.
Can England finally do something on the International stage or will we all be declaring the death of Internationa Rugby League this time next week? Who knows?
An England win in front of a huge crowd would be a fantastic result for the game. At the very least I'm hoping for a close contest. In reality I expect England to put up a good fight only to have the final score to blow out towards the finish.
I still have hope that England can deliver eventually. If not this year hopefully they can keep building towards the WC.
I think in reality England have been waiting for this game all 4 Nations and so i think they will be primed for the game of their life. But, they weren't great against Scotland and should have put NZ away in the first game and so i think it will be a run of the mill game where Aus get ahead early and then finish it off late. Has anyone noticed how quickly the Aussies get going in games? That has got to be one of the keys, if you can score first against Australia and be 6 nil up after 20 minutes, that is when you in with a real shot!
England winning by 14, but Kangaroos score in last minute to knock them out on points differential.
Another great "what if?" moment in Intl RL.
So, can England win by 12+ then? Of course then winning is difficult in the first place, but is 12 impossible?
I just hope theres a combination of Bennett getting us fired up and Australia totally underestimating us like we did Scotland. Also Australia have won at least their last 4 tests so they must be due a loss (i know I'm reaching)
So disappointed with England. It seems every year that 'next year' will be their year.
Any word on ticket sales? I know this game has been promoted heavily in London!
We don't tend to pip Australia by a couple of points so If we win (and it's a big if) then I think we'd win by enough to make the final.
I think this year the 4 Nations is 'ho hum' basically because for Australians the Tournament is over in England and the Australian media don't give a shit.
The Nein commentary sound like they've been made to get up at 2AM to put the cat out and the SOO obsessed print media clocked off after the GF..I think if the 4 Nations was being played here in Oz with Samoa or Fiji or perhaps a full strength PNG would be a different story..
Supposedly the capacity for this match is 43,000. Only half of the 'upper bowl' is on sale. Most of the lower bowl is sold out but appears to be plenty of tickets available still. Reading projections of high 30,000. Would be disappointing considering ENG v NZ got 44,393 last year.
Yeah but England beat them the week before and the fair weather fans jumped on board. This year they've lost one game and failed to impress in the other.
Plus last year was the first game at the Olympic stadium, was on a Saturday and a lot of non-RL people in the south might equate NZ with the all blacks.
I think this this tournament will prove the venue selection and kickoff times were shit and any "World Cup legacy" is mythological. England making the final might be the only way to salvage it.
Blame the failure of Super League to expand out of its corridor.
NRL is criticised as an east coast Australia competition but SL is the equivalent of a Wollongong-Sydney-Newcastle competition. Time to grow up.
