Also...with 50,416* having already watched the 4 games..

6k for scot v nz
50k for eng v oz
50k for final

Would give us a better average than the 2014 comp held down under!

Dunno why you lot keep trying to hold us to a higher standard than comps held down under? after all you lot have all the fans, money, media coverage!! whinge about how you under perform when organising comps!

*doubleheaders attendances are counted twice, nothing to do with me

Supposedly the capacity for this match is 43,000. Only half of the 'upper bowl' is on sale. Most of the lower bowl is sold out but appears to be plenty of tickets available still. Reading projections of high 30,000. Would be disappointing considering ENG v NZ got 44,393 last year.

Got a source for it being capped at 43k ?

I really do hope England win...even if it does result in the Kiwis missing out. Just think its important to have three genuine teams that can win next years World Cup....and Englands recent record against Australia is not the greatest....

Well bugger me...the aussies have allowed a english ref..
As they have done many many times over the years.

Don't worry, if you lose you'll claim he was just sucking up to the Aussies or he was so keen to show he wasn't bias he actually favoured Australia. There's always scope for whinging and blaming the ref regardless of who he is.

If you look at who has reffed Anglo-Australian tests since super league it actually breaks down like this:

Australian ref = 10 times
English ref = 7 times
Kiwi ref = 7 times

And one of the Australian refs was actually Ashley Klein who was an RFL and SL ref at the time.

And it doesn't include this game.

So if you count this game and consider that Klein was an RFL ref it's actually about even. So any narrative that tries to pretend the poms are perennially hard done by when it comes to ref appointments is pretty weak.

Monday morning at 1am!
I'm not going to able to watch. My Foxtel box won't allow me to record it (it's on GEM).

So I won't be watching.

Why would your foxtel box not allow you to record GEM? I've recorded the past couple of games no worries. Set them to record with the foxtel guide app on my phone.

Not expecting much from England, couldn't score against NZ, little chance against Kangaroos. Then again, Brexit, trump, Cubs, Sharks... maybe this will follow the shock 2016 pattern and England will face NZ in the final!
