I couldn't understand why the home team would play the curtain raiser in a double header.

But it makes sense now. You don't play first grade before reserve grade.

I hope Bennett strongly considers Williams next week. Only England half capable of making something happen. One of Widdop and Gale for the other halves spot. In hindsight it's looking like Williams and Sneyd or Smith would have been a better combo going into the tournament

Funniest guy on the forum right here.

Just watched the first 63 mins seen as my recording cut out on me.
Was far from impressive but at least it was the correct result and by a decent margin in the end.
If nothing else it was good for international league in it being close for much of the game.
I'm shocked to say I think we really missed Widdop and I will be very glad to see him and Graham lining up next week against the Kangaroos.

When Sneyd's kicking game is on it's very good. He doesn't offer much with the ball in his hands though.

I see Bennett's charismatic charm has won over the fans in the UK already. I think his ex missus deserves a medal for having to front up to Mr Positive for so long.

England could have saved a fortune by simply borrowing an elderly corpse from the mortuary sewing a Dictaphone (containing 8 words) inside it and propping it up in the stands and around the training pitch for the exact same effect

The best thing Bennett can do to promote international Rugby League is have England win games against Australia.

People have been pissing and moaning about his attitude to press conferences since the birth of christ
