I don’t have a problem with the declaration. We had plenty of time and just too many missed chances. A 4-0 victory will still look good.
The declaration was clearly bad. We had more than enough runs. There was no reason to keep going after the century. Our position was not improved in the slightest by that.

Time to put the goat out to pasture, he has been consistently losing Tests with his day 5 throw-downs for two years now. No longer able to use form as an excuse, either change his name to Marsh or retire.

Meanwhile Shane K Warne continues to prove the anagram of his name "Shane W@nKer" was no coincidence. Can't wait to see his new movie about himself and his many agendas - not.

How good is test cricket ? edge of the seat stuff, good fight from the poms, bowling not good enough from us.

3 yorkers yesterday and 3 wickets, so why the f**k do we keep bowling a length that is about 30 cms over the stumps and can be left on length alone.

The yorker is one of the best balls in any form of cricket yet we never saw one till yesterday and the occasional Starc yorker but he can't seem to land them recently.

And Lyon is still the most over rated spinner ever.

Good call by plastic face, bring on Manus, then Smudger takes a wicket, lol

I don't think myself that the declaration was an issue as they created enough chances on day 5 to bowl England out - getting 10 wickets on the last day is often a hard task and they obtained 9.

The only thing I would question is why send Carey out to bat when the declaration was pending. Should have declared when Green was out.

Need to practice the yorker too instead of bouncing tailenders
