Painful watching Lyon bowl to KP. He's got no answers for any good attacking batsman.

So glad i read through this thread, what a fountain of knowledge you are

His last post for the night as well lol.

Shot Swann you popped collar f**ktard, this is such an average Pommy side. So beatable.

Wouldn't call them average, but they are nowhere near as good as they think they are.
I never thought I'd see the day where I'd cheer the Aussies on to beat them, but here it is.

Strauss is probably the best commentator there. Went to sleep at 200/8 or so, hopefully the last wicket falls before the 250 is up. I think Englands attack will profit in our first innings too, so hard to judge where the game sits right now, even though it looks like we're clearly ahead.

On a flat pitch they didnt ever get going because we had a bowling attack that didnt give them anything, between Bird Harris Siddle and Watson the pressure was always on. It made Lyons job easier and it was an overall better performance.

Gotta knock that last wicket over and bat well today

Yep, and Bresnan isnt economic, and Broad can be costly too if hes not on form. Starcs erratic bowling at times could have been costly, Bird makes a real difference in building pressure. Lo and behold some of Englands batsmen made bizarre shots to lose their wicket.

I don't know any other way to put it than to say you're an out and out f**king idiot

The second you said that he was always going to take the Saffers wicket

This thread is dead now the series is over, fairweather Aussies.

I'm intrigued as to how you became such a huge Harris fan..:?

He hasn't played at Headingly as far as i know..

Strange that you seem to have started up a pommy circle jerking club for him..

Even to the extent of using it as your forum handle..

Anyways..carry on..

That last wicket stand at the end of the day was really starting to piss me off. Glad stumps can when it did, Aussie bowlers can get some rest and get this wicket quickly start of day 2.

I still think 250 might be a competitive score for the Poms. We shall see soon.

Par score imo is 280-300. England didnt capitalise on their starts up the top of the order. I think Rogers and Clarke will like the pitch.

ok boys, bat all day today, have at least 5-6 wickets left for tomorrow would be the long term plan

Short term plan, try stay till lunch wicketless or worst case 1/70 thereabouts, would be sweet
