This was always going to be a thrashing but this is just next level humiliation here. Fair reality check for poor old Sayers. His one and only test, surely. Lean 12 months ahead, to say the least.

13 sparkling runs to Renshaw this test. In this side, that's probably sealed his spot for a year

Wtf 600+, really?

Are Arthur Morris and Don Bradman leading the run chase?

That's just overkill.

The word on the street was all their bowlers bar the spinner were injured, that’s why faf kept batting (and the get his ton) . Morne wasn’t going to bowl , then it was unless absolutely necessary, then it was he is ok to bowl LOL

All bowlers recovered miraculously in time when they declared and were bowling.

The new era of clean Aussie cricket. It's all sunshine and roses from here. And 600+ scores. But it's entirely guilt free.
Yeah Smith Warner an Bancroft would have bowled the saffas out for 36.

The bowling was not affected one bit. Sayers came in for an injured Starc.

But hey carry on.

Again, Renshaw and Burns are on a hiding to nothing in this test - play a final, immediately jump on a plane and fly half way around the world, field for 2 days then open, then field for a day and a half and open. Pretty tough ask.

Khawaja again is the real disappointment. Just looks like he's cruising. Unfortunately there's no one around to challenge for his spot, if so he should be the first player dropped.

So are we going too keep up the pretence for that next 12 months that we would never get flogged if Smith and Davey were in the side??

Rose coloured glasses.

Yeah, I think there's a bit of drama going on here. Smith and Warner looked rubbish with the bat through the first three tests and Burns went just shy of a 50 in the second dig.

How would no suspensions have stopped our attack being pongoed to all corners?
