Ben has been a huge disappointment! Instead of proving he is a genuine NRL first grader - he is proving week-in week-out that he has not the maturity - composure or basic footballing nous to be a top class no. 6!!!

His option taking is appalling - and instead of taking pressure off Prince's kicking game - combined they provided a kicking display that was right up there with our worst of last year!!!

You mentioned his running the ball on the last with a minute to go in the 1st half - this is symptomatic of his desire to put on a miracle play as also evidenced by his cut-out ball over the sideline against the Broncos - where all that was needed was quick hands to exploit the overlap!!!

Royce has already stated that the plan was to use Benji at 5/8th against the Cowboys (despite being named at centre) - and as such it was evident that Sheens had realised already that Reynolds was not our answer there and was forced to rethink his slowly-slowly approach to Benii's development!

Unfortunately injury forced his hand - and Reynolds got a reprieve! However - regardless of injuries - on merit he simply should not be in the 17 in a fortnight!
