I agree there is nothing wrong with it and given he was warned about it I hardly call it controversial. Batsman do it all the time these days and as Twizzle said there should probably be more of it

Well said. The two warnings are as far as the spirit of the game needs to go. I also can't understand why anybody thinks batsmen should be able to back up as far as they want without repercussion.
