Can the unthinkable happen and Melbourne Strom to make 5 Grand Finals in a row? We have started a dynasty down here in the south and i don't see it stopping anytime soon.

They have a good spine in Smith, Cronk, GI and Slater.

If one of these gets injured though then it could be another story.

Proctor, Bromwich, Lowrie etc need to stand up and match the intensity of the older players.

We have good home record and should consolidate this.

Apart from having a good side, you need things to go your way to win a premiership ,

Last year when finals time hit, all the cards fall our way , the year before nothing went our way,

We , along with a few sides are in with a good chance, but its too early to get too carried away .

More like the best effort since the Saints. However due to the naure of the salary cap this team never had a chance to be the best it could be.

PS. Over the next 2-4 years this we are only going to get better once the likes of Oneill, Duffie,Chisholm, Griffen and Mclean come into the team.

And thats a crucial point that doesn't get mentioned alot,

The great St George side and the Parra side didn't have to move players on due to salary cap retrictions, the Storm and the Broncos ( who also deserve some credit for their success under the cap IMO) have had to keep bringing up kids, recruiting no - names , unwanted players etc to fill gaps .

And each time it happens, Bellamy re-invents the team , tweaks the game plan to suit the new personal.

After the talent loss of 2010 - You've got to be dreaming. Happy with a top 8.
We are back to when Bellamy started - so it is unfair to put those sort of expectations.
