I reckon its still 50/50 at the end of the day

Hope we can still get some overs out of Starc

and how good is Haze, Pidge MK II

No,Pidge was single handedly winning Ashes series in England at this age,Haze can't even win in Sri Lanka/Bangladesh let alone England.

Haze isn't even half as good as Pidge.

In fairness Pidge was also bowling on decks where the ball moved an inch or two if you hit the seam....Haze has been playing mostly on repurposed pieces of the M7

Pidge averaged 21 on Indian roads against the greatest ever Indian batting lineup(Ganguly,Laxman,Dravid,Tendulkar,Sehwag)

Haze is a complete bum compared to Pidge.

First time I’ve turned on Triple M’s coverage and not heard Brayshaw straightaway. f**king score.

Listening to that twat is like watching one of those truly shit Doris Day musicals. After about three minutes of talking in the movie you get the sense that a song is fast approaching. The feeling is the same as the feeling of a big storm brewing outside. When it hits you change the channel immediately.

Same thing with Brayshaw. After about three minutes of talking you get the sense he's going to slip something in there about AwFuL. It's like a big storm brewing in the commentary box. When it finally hits you immediately change the channel.

I ain't saying he's as good, Pidge is arguably the best seam bowler ever, but he's also not a complete bum.

The Indian wickets used to start off better than what they produce these days so there was something there for Javagal Srinath (and then Zaheer Khan but he was never as good) so Pidge's stats over there aren't shocking. These days their quicks are useless so they don't even bother

Hazelwood is a fine bowler in his own right. No need for McGrath comparisons

Root will be disappointed, should have gotten a few tons this seriesb but has stuffed up

Haze is very good but comparing him to Pidge just yet is unfair

It’s like being compared to the great Wazn on a heavy 10.
