I was listening to ABC on the wireless and they were saying that Khawaja might have been more emotional than usual because it was his first test century at the SCG.

When he was a kid his family couldn't afford to buy tickets so his old man would take him down to the ground for the last half hour of Sheffield shield cricket when they let you in for free.

Khawaja's is a great story in Australian cricket

Pretty sure you are referring to Alison Mitchell. I was lucky enough to get a stream of BT sports broadcast during the First Test. Her and Adam Gilchrist's commentary was outstanding. So much better than Nein.

Alison Mitchell as commentator is the perfect combination - competent, informative coverage with a voice that reminds me of those English backpackers I shagged in summers of yore.
