That's now 32 innings Khawaja has gone without a test century (with only six 50s during that streak).

Furthermore, only 143 runs scored @ 17.87 so far this test series. That average is not far away from Mitch Marsh's 10.42.

Unless he can produce a Houdini in the 2nd innings, I can't see how Khawaja gets a place on the tour of Sri Lanka (age is not on his side as well, being 38).

Konstas has really got under the Indians skin. The whole side had a crack at him after Uzzie got out. Could put them off their game worrying about him or might get them focused.

Hard to know what was said between Bumrah and Konstas. We'll probably never know and never find out. If Konstas can play the villain just like Siraj has, then so be it. If it gets Bumrah off his game then power to him, but it can also give him more determination. Bumrah is a class player and I'm sure some kid giviing him lip won't make him lose any sleep. Either way we get the fun of the theatre and as long as both players can shake hands and be civil after the game I'm all for it.
