I think we'll see Watson back in for the next game replacing Mitchell Marsh..

No intensity no clue really. Need to start making runs up the top of the order. Watson to get a recall after the game in Brisbane IMO.

worst australian performance in an odi for quite some time

i think ponting leading the team really proved divisive tonight

I like the little huddle Punter got the lads into on the ground prior to SL batting

inpsiring stuff, imagine the walloping we would have got without it

gee you forget how negative Ponting is till you see him have another go, I dont think he realizes that slips are there to take wickets

Sri Lanka have a pretty fair record at the SCG. Jayasuria used to pull out a big innings there all the time

In one match we turned back the clock to the bad old days.

The difference between the top 4 sides in odi cricket is very small. India, Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka can all win on their day. Right now we have issues with our top order and India and Sri Lanka are good enough to exploit that.

I think Sri Lanka having Jayawardene open was quite intelligent on their part. 152 could have been a defendable target for Australia, but the opening partnership put any defence of it just out of reach. That said, the Australian fielding was uncharacteristically poor
