Im putting $1,000 on Strauss winning the toss

Hopefully will be 6-0, then we are 1 ODI win away from the no1 ranking

a night game as well so starts 11.15pm AEST on Thursday night

he doesn't seem to beat him with good balls though, he ties him down and Strauss gets himself out

I hate Day nighters, England will welcome back the pie man to open the bowling whilst Collingwood misses 1 more

You would probably think Johnson will be given a game off and it would be good to see Voges get a run with Clarke getting a break

There should be an investigation into the coin toss.

9 out of 10 to England so far this tour!

Good wicket there in Rottingham. If Strauss wins the toss will he bowl first just to see if chasing a total makes any difference. Since they couldn't defend 299. So it has nothing to do with the lower scores. (Might've been good for the old school but scores between 190 and 240 is low by today's standards.)

WTF happened to Watson, claimed the Test opening spot but now looks like a duck in ODIs.

Strange isn't it?

Long term he is no Test opener. Could become an excellent No.6 or 7 but as a one day player he could be anything if he doesn't do a hammy every few games.

Best knock by Paine so far, played within his limits and hasn't moved around his crease. Now for the 100.

Yeah he looks good.

Commentators mentioned before about England making Australia look good.

Thoughts?

No doubt an element of truth there although you can't criticise a side that's up 5-0 too much against another 'Test playing' nation so to speak.
