They have made us look good in part but credit to our players they have stepped up. Ponting has comeback and looked very comfortable, Paine hasn't been troubled (only gets out throwing his wicket away), Ferguson has been his usual self. Bowling is probably where they have made us look better than we really are, so many times they have gifted us their wickets.

Congrats to Paine, well deserved 100.

Doesn't it make you smile that almost everytime Holding, who i love, rips the batting team for supposedly mismanaging their batting powerplay, the batting team starts making plenty of runs.

296 not bad, lets hope we do a better job at defending it than the English. Hopes and White both provided good late hitting.

I think its a case of England making Aus look good in some parts but it is also very one sided because Australia now have a decent one day team, throw in Haddin for Paine and its a very strong ODI side, even with Paine they should go very close to winning the Champions Trophy
