I was merely responding to a smart-arse comment about RU, I have no problem at all with League and enjoy watching it.
Why would I have a Warriors badge otherwise???

Given the "Boom" of union after the World Cup why did they do this and the answer is the union fan group is to small in Australia, in NZ it booms but not here it will always been seen as a private school game for run by and for the few and lacks that tribal feel about the game.
.

Just to knock you off your perch - Union rules League everywhere but PNG, Australia and Northern England (although England get Sell Outs when they play at Old Trafford)

Union doesn't dominate league in the Following areas-

Morocco
Former Yugoslavia
Greece
Toulouse and Guyenne (Read up about what the Vichy Government did to league ;-) )
Russia
Lebanon.

Though small, the game continues grow in these regions.

Great, how about some more international games then. Maybe Australia versus the undeveloped world as well?

It was only a response to Ripper's Post.

I admitted they were small, but The IRLF is pleased with the progress the game is making.
The Kangaroo's are playing something like 8-10 internationals this year as well.

Cause you're confused?

I'm just glad we don't have to put up with union on our free-to-air teles. I'm happy I live in a state where league rules the roost!! Don't really care about anywhere else - as long league is number one where I live, I'm satisfied.

BTW, nick off to a union board if you want to escape the dreaded pro-league comment.

Iggy Poop - if you learnt to read you might have noticed the words RUGBY UNION up the top of this board...

On a league site I may add, what are the other union sites you can post by the way. League boys are looking after you. But everyone is getting of the topic on the dumping of union.

My previous employer who is also a union and league sponsor still wants to send me 12 tickets to Waratah games all season but wont part with the league ones. I can also get free test tickets to the union as well but no SOO. I keep throwing the super12 tickets away.

I know, I like both (of course Union is my first love) but I get so sick of f**kwits who can't think of any new material so that's what they bag. GET OVER IT!
And why is there an RU section on a league board, because some people like it and want to talk about it... this is a good union board, that's why I'm here!

And that tediously boring game of rugby union is exactly what I'm talkin' bout. The fact that its main comp can't get on free-to-air  I must admit I still chuckle even though it's old news now.

genius union supporters just don't get it.
