The penalty was for a hold down, not for the strip so you are seriously wrong.Yes I am f**king serious, did you not see that. I thought it was pretty clear.
Actually, when it first happened I thought the Eels were totally ripped off but once I saw the replay I thought Archer got it 100% correct.
Watch it again and keep an eye on Slaters arm holding the ball, you will see the Eels player knocks the ball out as he runs past.

You mean, like Hindmarsh had the ball knocked out of his hands by a knee in the first half... and it was ruled a knock on?
He penalised Fui for holding on.
We had a roll on then too, it was in their half, we get the penalty and we have 6tackles inside their 20.You mean, like Hindmarsh had the ball knocked out of his hands by a knee in the first half... and it was ruled a knock on?
Mate, Archer came out today and said Slater dropped the ball cold and the penalty was for holding down.:?The call was not for holding him down. It was for interference in the ruck. I am watching it right now. The Parra player did run past and knock it out of Slater's arms from behind him with his knee/leg.
Didn't deserve a penalty but in my opinion.
EDIT: Actually yes it did, I just watched it about 10 times in a row and you cant just run past a player from offside and knock it out of his hands (accidently or not)
Oh ok, obviously I didn't have any commentary at the game and haven't watched a replay. That was posted somewhere I don't have a link.Well he must have changed his decision because that's not what it looked like he was signaling (and what the commentators were saying) on television.
Another thing that we noticed at the game... early on Turner got tackled and archer yelled 'held 2' and then Turner got up and ran again and Archer allowed play on.
