K guys im hearing that guys like O'neil, Sattler and Senter r imperitive 2 our side because they do the little things right like few missed tackles etc but they dont offer nething in attack ie. hitting the line at pace or breaking tackles. But we need a beefed up forward pack against sides like the Roosters, Panthers etc.

My question is What is our best forward pack in your opinion for Friday?

Do we need all out hard hitting forwards, consistant forwards with lttle impact offensively or a mix of both?

What do we do with all the ball playing back rowers we got ie. Graham, Wilson, Galea etc?

Papa smurf is 100% correct. To beat quality sides you need atleast one dangerous line breaking back rower starting the game.Laffranchi is a must as he helps out the props making the go forward, but having both Sattler and O`Neill in the side makes it unbalanced. They are too similar in how they play for them both to be there!

what makes it unbalanced is when you have 2 props doing f**k all with the ball.
10 hit ups from 2 frontrowers is a disgrace.

we need our props playing consistent footy and getting in and doing the hard yakka more than just here and there.

it is the props job to make the hard yards, not the backline or the backrow for 90% of the match.

how you can continually ignore the lack of work from our props amazes me.

How you can ignore the fact that we lack strike power in the back row amazes me!

Boof and benny G are the closest things we have to attacking forwards, and one of ems out for 3 more weeks.
Payten IMO dead set had a bludge last week, hes gotta pull his finger out.
I wish Skando would try a swivel or maybe an off load ,something, anything, when he gets to the line.
Its hard to get too confident about this game,.....I see our forwards getting pushed back in attack, and their forwards landing on their elbows and knees and quik PTB's, time after time.
Though saying that I seem to recall a few teams making yards from dummy half against the roosters....maybe Mears and Dazz can do something there.

Yeh, who gives a stuff if we dont pass the ball for the 1st 20 minutes as long as we make the yards early. We can then expand our game to suit
