There most probably will be underlying reasons why Flanno offered 450k. Maybe the Molo situation influenced the price.

Who knows the offer might have come with a wish for a final offer if our bid is not the highest offer.

I think it will require $1.5 million ( $500 Thou. per season ) over 3 years to entice him to our club. I believe that's fair and reasonable for a frontrower that Flanno is looking for that provides that element of difference.

The media has a habit of tossing up contract offer dollars based on what??
When I hear from Flanagan that we have actually made an offer to Hazelton then I will know we are serious about signing him.

Sounds fine but Flanno supposedly said the matter is a "legal minefield." How could it be? Molo is in breach of his contract isn't he?

But that would be too sensible. Instead, I interpret this to mean that Molo might - for example - maintain that he has had to suffer such a hostile work environment that only a payout of his contract or some compensation would settle the matter.
