There has been some discussion on the forum about $8 away tickets.
With the first game at Manly coming up, I emailed them about the issue. This was the response I got....
We are currently finalising the offer that will be available to visiting team season ticket holders/ members for 2007. The ticket price will be changing and will no longer be $8.00. Once it has been finalised each club will distribute this information to their season ticket holders/ members and we will also display this information on our website.

Of course Manly tried to start something like this last year, charging full whack. Other clubs then put pressure on them and the decision was reversed a few weeks later (too late still for Raiders fans)
Mind you, the $8 tickets are a bit of a waste of time at most grounds. Half the time you can only go behind the goals (read Parramatta, any games at Telstra, Aussie Stadium, Newcastle etc). If I am going to drive (or be a passenger) for three hours there and three hours back, I would rather pay another $15 or so and sit on the halfway line. Manly is of course an exception, because you can go on the hill on the Eastern side and be on the half way line. (along with about 2000 drunk 16 year olds by last years crowd)
