Yea Almunia was impressive.

Hit the post twice but what do you do. I agree, I'll settle for a point at Anfield.

I think we passed that test well and I feel more confident against ManU now, especially at home.

I worry about Adebayor and Eboue though. They say Adebayor is in form but really it was a couple of goals against Sp*rs and a few others. He hasn't scored for weeks. I'd prefer him to play with another striker because he is a good target man and can feed his other striker better. But I don't think he's "in form" as we keep hearing.

I thought he may have started Eboue because he is stronger physically than Walcott. An he is less likely to be intimidated by the Anfield atmosphere than an 18 year old. That's what I thought.

Walcott may have come out worse against Carragher's elbow. Or felt it more, mentally and physically.

For ManU I'd have:

Almunia
Sagna/Toure/Gallas/Clichy
Hleb/Fabregas/Flamini/Rosicky
Walcott/Adebayor

Lehmann/Bendtner/Eboue/Gilberto/Eduardo

That way Hleb can dip in and out of the centre with Rosicky and Adebayor can play Walcott more. The atmosphere will be kinder for Theo at home

Eboue, I don't like.
Rosicky, didn't shine.
Adebayor, alone up front - WTF?!?!?!

Clichy and Sagna will both do very well on Ronaldo. Sagna fast and very tough. Clichy will give Ronaldo a run for his money in a footrace. I want Diaby on instead of Rosicky. Purely for the reason to help out Clichy. If Clichy is caught out off a counter attack we'll have problems containg Ronaldo down that right flank with Rosicky covering.

Otherwise I want the two strikers up front. Theo is a must! Will run rings around Vidic and Ferdinand, his pace will become Man U's undoing IMO.

Eboue was horrible. He did nothing but give away penalties and bad passes.

Anyone notice how thuggish Carragher played....dirty scum is what he is.
