we don't have fabregas for the match against wigan and it looks like flamini will be joinin him

Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini is due to come back to London on Tuesday as he injured himself with France and will not take part in the game with Ukraine on Wednesday.
Arsene Wenger will make his key player pass scans in order to know the extent of his injury, as Les Bleus’ medical staff have refused to reveal what the blow is.
Flamini, who made his international debut on Friday against Morocco, was expected to start the game with Ukraine, the last of his country's Euro 2008 qualifiers.
His Arsenal team-mate Lassana Diarra could replace him in the starting XI alongside Chelsea star Claude Makelele.
Wenger will have to model a different midfield against Wigan at the weekend, as Cesc Fabregas is already out of Saturday’s clash against Wigan due to suspension and either Gilberto, Denilson, Diarra, Abou Diaby or Alexandre Song could start the game.

I think Gilberto should start in the game. He hasn't had a chance this seaosn yet and he needs a time to prove that he is worthy of staying at Arsenal.

Diaby is a certainty to start. Wenger knows that Diaby needs some game time because Wenger knows his value!

Other spot to be fought out by

Gilberto
Denilson
Diarra

He has taken it to far IMO.

Dishing out Almunia saying he isn't good enough and Lehman will re-claim his spot easily and now giving the fans of his home country the finger is just to much. Of course he would have been pissed off with fans crying for Robert Enke but was that necesary. What do you expect. Enke plays for Hannover, the match was played in Hannover. I would have been more than aware that I would have had some sledging coming my way. He also had a fairly good game. It's not like he was playing cr*p and that there was a good reason for being subbed.

He could have just been scratching his face?

Welcome, my fellow Newcastle based Gooner!

I think we're a slight reverse Gunning. I live in Penrith and go for Newcastle - I assume you live in Newcastle but it looks like you go for Penrith. But that only really matters in March.

How do I get my hands on one of those cool Sig's?

I'll set you up as soon as I can concentrate properly on a computer screen. I have a beast eye infection.

I too am an arsenal fan. Havent missed a game for 4 years I reckon. The worst thing is because of wengerball I cannot stand watching the a league. Anyways Van persie is back this weekend possibly though that could be offset with hleb possibly back from international duty with an injury, fingers crossed he is ok. Could be tough without both hleb and fab4.

He got hit with injury at a bad time. I think he had scired in the past 3 games and was on fire really. Very unlucky to be injured when he was. But I have no doubts he can get back into form!

If Helb is out to this is my team.

------------Almunia--------------
--Sagna-Toure-Gallas-Clichy--
-Eboue-Diaby-Gilberto-Rosicky-
-------Walcott-Adebayor--------

Only things I'm not sure about are as follows.

I don't think RVP will start. Will make an appearance from the bench. So he won't start but whether Walcott or Bendtner start I don't know.

Also Gilberto, Diaby or Denilson. Which 2 I'm not sure.

I also read somewhere Rosicky is in doubt. Don't know how true that is but if so then Diaby will play on the left with Gilbs and Denno in the middle.
