Was always gonna be tough away with all the changes coupled with the stupid 4-5-1. No player really stood out, maybe Bendtner deserves a few more games to show his stuff, looked promising. Senderos absolute garbage as usual. Gilberto looks well past it, maybe play him at cb where his passing isnt relied upon. Anyways better to lose this game then a premiership game.

Hey give Bumby a break, this is his first chance to have a dig at an Arsenal loss since April. Unlike him to miss a chance...

Nevermind that it was an insignificant match with no bearings on any serious outcomes away from home, Bumby needs to take what he can get with this Arsenal side so far this season. Lord knows it has been a long time in-between drinks...

We lost top spot (for now) but have still qualified, and will back ourselves against any other side in Europe without doubt. So not a biggy at all. But by all means Bumby, rip in. Take what you can get while you can get it, regardless of what it is.

fabregas out for ten days, not good news

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas faces up to two weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury.

Fabregas limped off during Arsenal's 3-1 Champions League defeat to Sevilla on Tuesday night, with reports suggesting the young Spaniard will be out for at least 10 days.

Should this be the case he will miss Arsenal's trip to Aston Villa on Saturday, the match against Newcastle four days later and possibly their third Premier League away match in a row at Middlesbrough on Sunday week.
Fabregas said: "I felt my hamstring in the first half. I kept going but I felt it again in the second half.
"It's the first time in my life I have felt this and I didn't want to take a risk."
Fabregas has been a revelation for Arsenal this season, cementing his position as one of the best midfielders in the world with a string of combative, influential displays.
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with the 20-year-old, who has remained loyal to Arsene Wenger and believes his long-term future lies at the Emirates.
Wenger will want to get his playmaker back as soon as possible to help maintain Arsenal's title push.
They currently hold a three-point advantage at the top of the Premier League table, with a game in hand, but any further injuries to key players could see their season come off the rails.
Robin van Persie's return from a knee injury has not progressed as quickly as anticipated and the Dutchman will certainly not be fit enough to face either Villa or Newcastle

Hmmmmm

This will be a real toughy vs Aston Villa.

I'd be more than happy to walk away with a draw. They're in hot form. Them and Everton are on fire.

Just heard Arsenal TV will be launched on Sentanta in Jnauary :D

Hope it's true.

Other news, Wenger has came out and said he will not be adding to the middle of the park but beleives some tightening in defence is needed.

Injury Situation for Villa game.

Confirmed Out -

Robin van Persie
Abou Diaby
Cesc Fabregas

Confirmed In -

Mathieu Flamini
William Gallas
Emmanuel Adebayor

Unsure -

Gael Clichy
Alexander Hleb

Assuming Clichy and Hleb are out I expect this.

--------------Almunia----------------
--Sagna--Toure--Gallas--Traore--
-Eboue-Flamini-Denilson-Rosicky-
---------Walcott-Adebayor----------

Wenger won't fall for the stupid 4-5-1 again. Traore played very well against Sevilla as did Walcott. They should get runs again. Dudu had a shocker, he won't start. And Denno will get there ahead of Gilbs and Diarra.

Also was reading on Arsenal.com about how great undefeated runs ended in defeat and got worse from there.

Interesting to see this.

The biggest threat, our mental strength.

Robin van Persie is still “two or three weeks” from full fitness.

The striker last played for Arsenal on October 7 when he struck twice in the 3-2 win over Sunderland at Emirates Stadium. He injured his knee in the international break that followed and has been out of action ever since.
Arsène Wenger was hopeful the 24-year-old would be back for last weekend’s game with Wigan. That estimation has had to be re-assessed. Now he is set to return just before the Christmas rush of games.

“Van Persie is out,” said Wenger ahead of Saturday’s game at Aston Villa. “It will be two or three more weeks.”
The manager said the problem was bigger than first thought, adding: “There is still pain. He is not close, he has no chance at all for next week.”

FMD. I have a friend who supports Villa and if they beat us I'm gonna cop it for a while. If we win with all the players out he'll be copping it.

Oh and btw, I know you wankstains are deluded but if any of you think your boys would come to Celtic Park and win you need your heads read. Milan, Benfica, United and a million and one other losers have all tried, and failed. We've lost once at home in the history of the Champions League, and that was against Barcelona. And even then, we only lost to a dubious penalty.

 Good ole Bumble.

We might not win at Celtic Park, but I hope you don't think that Celtic would stand a chance at the Emirates otherwise the shrink will need too knock on the other door. ;-)
