Was this in Port? Where did you hit up? Some classy establishments there, I was at the Down Under a few weeks back. Its my home town.

THE DOWN UNDER. oh my god. that place was horrifying. only to be outdone by Altitude. i've never seen so many desperate girls in one place. they were swarming over the players like locusts. or sharks or something. so upsetting.

no offence to Port but after those two clubs i kinda had to bathe myself in Dettol for reals :?

the rest of the town is lovely though and all the locals were very sweet. i do love how nice everyone is in the country. it makes me happy. oh and it's BEAUTIFUL there. the view from our apartment was gorgeous.

(apart from the one crazy bitch at Altitude that thought i was trying to 'steal her man' and almost punched me in the face. because apparently walking past someone means i'm a man stealer. okay then)

They are dumps, I ventured in there for the first time in years a few weekends back when I was home and remembered why I had not been in years. I have not been to Altitude for 10 years. No offence taken either, its a typical country town and all clubs in towns like this are terrible. I also go back and look around thinking where do all these drop kicks come from, I dont think I am ready to move back yet.

Where did you stay? I say a pic on Errohl that looked like you might have been at the Sandcastle or just next door at Town Beach.

Wait, what? You don't have regular Dance offs with Jamal Idris? All this time I thought what me and Jamal had was pretty regular, just a standard part of life. "Yo M-dawg, dance off at ANZ stadium this sat!! BE THERE" now I realise that we've really got something special. :)

I know what you mean DkoR, this weekend felt lacking. The International felt restrained, City/Country was well...City/Country.

The rest of the games either featured only one team turning up (Manly and the Broncos) or a match befitting that of the Queensland Cup.

To top it off, tonight we've got the creme de la creme in the Roosters tackling an understrength Cowboys side.

Bring on next week already!

I actually ended up watching a bit of Rugby Union over the weekend and that sh*t just isn't cool. I'ma write a letter to the NRL asking for them to give me back the 20 odd minutes I spent watching Union. It was all their fault after all.
