I've only ever payed to get into a place once. That was when a mate had a 21st at some joint called the "slip in". Set me back 25 big ones...

I remember I went to mate B ' Day party at the Pump House in Darling Harbour.

We were told to go into the VIP line & I'm think we're some posh dudes in it... & that line was about x7 the length of the normal one ! We finally get in after about half an hour of waiting... & they say " $15 please ". :lol:

Hell yeah. (even though I've only been to one in my life... but I don't need to go to any to know how great boobs are).

I went to the Love Machine in Kings Cross.

All the girls were good looking... cept the last one. She ha to be the ugliest thing I've seen in my life (think the alien from Predator...). She made me got on stage & whip her :lol: I kept hitting her on the arse with it & she kept yawning. I was like " F*ck this ! "

I wound it right up... BOOM !

A whole bunch of us waltzed into a place called "Pure Platinum" which is a pretty classy strip joint located near Darling Harbour if i remember correctly.

We get settled in for a decent night when a barmaid offers us, get this, complementary chicken wings (lol). We had a little giggle and accepted her offerings. Anyways, we move closer to the stage to get a better "view" and one of the strippers wanted one of my mates to give her a little slap on the ass. What does my mate do?? This little love tap that wouldn't wake a baby. I dive over 3 of my mates with a king slap that could be heard over the music and crowd.

It could have easily been seen differently through the bouncers eyes. I ws pretty lucky that night...

Yeah agreed...Why pay to go to a f**king nightclub? You can get in a pub for free and spend the cover charge on beer

I hear Glasshouse in Wollongong is a good club. Dancefloor, bar, & TV to watch footy :shock: ! $5 for a pint of beer... I can live with that.

Nah, it's around the corner from there. I think the place you're talking about is called " HOME " ? Not sure on the name, but I know the place.

Next time your around the place, walk around the back. They usually leave the back door open (it'll be covered with bouncer for obvious reasons) and you get a clear view of what happens in there...

Meh, only place I frequent in the city is Lowenbrau...great bar, great beers. Have to try the Bavarian Beer place next time I'm there too

Lowenbrau is the place at the Rocks isnt it?? The german beer bar/restaurant?? That's an awesome place. Ever try one of those $18 flavoured beers??

Good atmosphere at that place. Bands every weekend. Pricey but great food. Good bar. Indoor/Outdoor areas. And its fuggen nice and warm...

Agreed about the club scene. I'm lucky that wellington is quite a small city so travel aint too bad, plus we have some pretty sweet bars in town that I can go to without having to go to some sh*t as club.

That being said, NOTHING beats a good house party.

The Lowenbrau beer isn't that expensive either...A stein will set you back around 16 dollars...A stein is a litre, so that works out about $6.40 a schooner. When you consider you can pay double that for a fecking Becks at some places, that's not bad value for a good beer. And the food is awesome. They also do this thing where they line ten shots of schnapps up on a special wooden serving tray...great way to get drunk :crazy:Lo
