Don't you hate it when you turn up to Oztag looking forward to a reasonable game and you realise that the team you are up against, although 1 short, contains a current Nrl player and a couple of blokes from an Nyc team.

5 all at halftime then fitness got the better of us and we went down 10-8.

Said current cause he is current. Not only Nrl but a current international as well. Although he didn't play on the weekend. His team had a bye.

You play enough touch or Oztag and you bump into one occassionally. So far I've played touch or tag against Mark O'Neill, Craig Coleman, Michael Pobje, Mark Riddell, Matt Utai and tonight Jared Waerea Hargreaves. Played with Michael Pobje and best ever experience was playing a game of mixed touch with Peter Sterling. I used to play in a team with his Sister Trish on the central coast and he rocked up for a game one night. Was a few years back when I was playing three nights a week and had some pace and fitness about me. Scored about 8 tries that night. Run at a gap and the ball would be on your chest. He had freakish vision. One of the best experiences of my life.

Best I played against was Mark O'Neill. I was only about 15 at the time, but that bloke was a sensational touch footballer. Cut us to ribbons. Pace, step, vision he had it all on the touch football field.

Tonight was mixed at Homebush. Utai used to play at Granville all the time. Sterlo, Terry Hill and Mick Pobje played on the coast. Riddell was at East hills a few years back, O'neill was at Parra and Tugger was at Heffron Park many years back
