40 offloads is impressive but everyone was claiming that muckert was the New Ian Hindmarsh. He workrate is nowhere near what the man Ian had during his parramatta days. Ian Hindmarsh's stats in 2000:

Games started 19
Interchange 0
Tries 2
Av tackles 27.79
Av hitups 10.58
Av mtrs gained 77
Eff tackles 94.45%
Line breaks 4
Offloads 19

If Parramatta is looking for a worker 2nd rower by those stats muckert is not that man unless he has improved dramatically during the offseason. Ian is unreplaceable

on ya bartman glad to see someone has brains. #-o   :D
Nah, just copy and pasted them in vertically from your post. What else can you do when it's been too hot to sleep at night lately?

As for the stats, none of these new buys were ever going to come into the club and be a stable first grader straight away. They need to develop their play to the next level and this is possible. Anyone with an effective tackle % in the 90s, and who is making an average of close to 100m a game has potential to work with in my book.

Ian Hindy was playing at his peak when he left us, and these guys will take the time to develop that he did over the years. But for "bargain" buys, if one or two can turn into something special, then they'll leave a positive mark on the 04 Eels.
