I think this is where the "Gilchrist is boring" thread comes from. We're seeing ODI scores of over 300 all the time, and IT IS BORING. Test cricket is on the rise again, but if we keep seeing 400 runs scored every day and teams racking up enormous scores, that'll be boring to. The fans will flock to the games and everyone will scream and shout, and cricket will become glorified baseball. Cricket is not supposed to be a batting exhibition. Who is going to want to be a bowler in the future, if they know they're just going to be smashed around all the time?
