I have a soft spot for NZ Knights, because of my good buddy and fellow forummer, Kurt, so I'm very pleased for them. If any team had to be running second behind QLD Roar, I'd love it to be them.

Melb win 3-2
Milligan should have got a yellow card for diving....fred's elbow barely touched his shoulder/neck and he went down like he was shot and held play up for 5 mins amazingly when the stretcher came out he was able to walk off and then come back on 30 seconds later

god i hate the bias sydney commentary from fox sports

also a very very good crowd of just under 40000 at the Telstra Dome, i dont think anyone was expecting that but good effort.

How good is Mark Rudan! Been watching too many Vinny Jones replays.

I dont mind that we lost because of the MASSIVE crowd and great game.

Perth Glory 2 - 0 Central Coast Mariners

CCM have the worse keeper I have seen since the NSL days. He was at fault for the comical Simon Colosimo goal and after that the crowd got on his back and the pressure got to him in the second half because he made many errors.

This was the weakest CCM team I have ever seen. They are normally quite strong, especially when they play the Glory. I was surprised that they left Tommy Pondejak on the bench. We had the best goal suppliers I have seen at the club in Stan Lazaridis and Leo Bertos (my man of the match), if we had somebody half decent as a striker to meet their crosses we probably would've buried the Mariners.

Instead it was still a satisfying 2-0 win, but the lack of quality up front is worrying.
