A loss on Friday will do us more long term good than a win

It would almost be better if we got belted on Friday night. If we jag a win against a team of misfits even more geniused and inept than ourselves it will probably get us into the 8 and paper over massive cracks. The Sheens defenders and the men who make the decisions (and refuse to make the tough ones in this case) will have the fools deluded with the defence of `we made the play offs' and will probably buy sheens next season.

On the back of making the semis, Noyce will probably reward him with another 4 year contract and we'll be stuck with him and the gnome playing in front of crowds of 7,000 as we collect spoons for fun.

A loss on the other hand would mean a failure to make the 8 in what is the lowest comp in history and will have plenty more questioning Shines. Even over the last month there has been a considerable shift in the amount of people who think he is past his use by date. That number grows by the week and if it continues we will (at worst) only have to put up with the fool and his bullsh*t excuses and team selections for another 12 months, safe in the knowledge that, unless we reappointed Lamb, we could not do any worse than what we are now.

Have a look at the utter sh*t in the 8, and shines can't get us in there. And yet there are still plenty who have blind faith in this fool and his right hand gnome to take us forward
