Hulka if the PB comment was to address me, then that is a bad example.
I'm not actually on the lets bag bailey wagon. I'm waiting to see what he does when the team starts firing.
& right now he's solid. He may not be passing or making the breaks but when the very few opportunities have come his way, he's had an impact. & his defense is great.
I think all this nonsense about him not wanting to be here are ridiculous. The guy has footy pumping thorugh his veins. I bet he can't wait for things to turn around. just like everyone.
We are a poorer team without him.

if williams is a reserve grader, what does that make some of our other pizz weak forwards?!

A reserves players

I think the hype is warranted, hes the first forward weve had in many a year that can penetrate(no pun intended stevo) .......... the line.

Sure hes unproven, but everyone is unproven at some point in their career.

I like him .......His style of play could spark a bit of "follow the leader", and thats what we desperately need.

As much as I can't stand the calculated hair flicking and constant verbalising of the touchies and ref , I too think we need him on the feild for us .

Nope wasn't directed at you or anyone for that matter. More at the fact at the start of last year he was more of a fringe player who went on to play for his country and look at how some of us built him up.

I agree we are a poorer team without him but at the moment he thinks everything is a big joke.

Bailey is not the same this year. His attitude seems poorer. I just don't know. I hope he goes well tomorrow night. I think he is better in the centres.

As for Williams. What the hell are you watching Millers? He is a hard nut, just what we were lacking. He isn't a reserve grader, he has been unfit and not in first grade. I think you'll change your tune tomorrow night.

I just wish Bailey would stay onside....Billyboy Harrigan was right when he said in his book Bailey's name was always getting called by the linesman for being off-side and while I'm watching the game now I watch Bailey in defence and yep he's always standing off side and giving away penalties.......he's a d...h...

Well Jason Williams certainly gets the crowd going. As soon it's anounced he is interchanging for someone the crowd cheer as loud as I have heard for someone coming off the bench ever.

God knows we need him to rev up the crowd. The atmosphere was embarrassingly subdued against the cowboys.

His runs and off loads were the ONLY bright spot of the night. NO wonder everyone is excited about his impact at the club in such a short time.

I hope the cheers get louder for him and everyone is aware to run with him cause your going to end up with the ball after his sent his wrecking ball frame into the opposition!

I think the Bailey Boys and the Shark Army should get on this case and it might get the rest of the boys excited. Gee I hope Williams is still going strong when we play the broncos, I want to see this bloke LIVE

Actually correction, he still hasn't beaten the reception Preston Campbell got coming off the bench in that Parramatta game at home when Kimmorley was given an early rest.

Branighan, what a joke!

Our other 'future of our club' player....Blaine Stanley. Wtf was he good for?

Greg Bird was also hyped to the skies. Who's next? Andrew Emilio? Don Tweddle?

Well he and Vagana were clearly a level above anyone else running around in the Black White and Blue last week.
And he was awesome in the trial at Ballina.

I know that's only two games but it's enough to encourage me

He didn't play in the Ballina trial. Reece Williams played and he had an unhappy night.

He's a good player but he's not exactly superstar material I'm sorry to say, why do you think he could never crack it at the bulldogs even at age 23?

Well that's weird. Who was the nuggety guy wearing headgear who started at prop?
I thought he looked alright.

The program that night had players numbers all over the place so I wasn't sure on a lot of the new guys

It was probably Dale Newton? He often wears headgear, at least year anyway.

He was set to play last year but a injury kept him back. Also O'Meley and Price...
