According to fat albert Worland on the grill team. Said the same source told him about Anasta as well. Could be a good signing, he's playing well. Age & his body holding up are a concern but having him around to school a youg fellow like Tedesco wont hurt. If this is true I also think it shows Moltzen is not wanted.

On form and experience he is about 75 million times better than Moltzen. Two years is one too long but I'd rather him next year than Moltzen and Tedesco will not be 100% right until midway through 2013 at the earliest. Depending on the dollars, I can live with his signing most definitely.

Two years is a worry but considering the wealth of experience we are losing in Ellis and the fact he has played with Braith for so long it may not be a terrible idea.

Puts question marks on the plans for Tedescos development though

The only player from the Roosters I'd take. He could always fill in the void for Lote on the wing if we don't retain him and Tedesco is fit to play at the back.

Two years is fine by me.

I can't see him deteriorating so much that Moltzen becomes better.

Sures up the fullback gig, finally a good move by Sheens.

Well we've now used up the cash from Tuqiri and Ellis' departures I would imagine on Anasta and Minichiello.

2013 at this stage (If Mini is true)
1 - Minichiello
2 - Ryan
3 - Ayshford
4 - Lawrence
5 - Koroibete
6 - Marshall
7 - Anasta
8 - Woods
9 - Farah
10 - Galloway
11 - Blair
12 - Heighington
13 - Fulton

14 - Murdoch-Masila
15 - Groat
16 - Bell
17 - Moors

18 - Reddy
19 - Humble
20 - Cashmere
21 - Moltzen
22 - Tedesco
23 - Chisholm
24 - Politoni
25 - Utai
Depth is still a big issue, as is the lack of forwards.

No probs with his signing if it occurs. My only thought / wish is that WT should have some protection if his back gives out for any extended period.

Seems funny potentially having two long time ex-Roosters in the fold if it happens. Player traffic rarely goes that way from Bondi Junction. Good on them, they're good players and I welcome them.

MU- my gut feeling is WT wont see Utai, Heighington and Moltzen in 2013. Utai and Moltzens contracts end this year and Heighington's ends next season and I think he will be encouraged to explore ESL options early. WT will then have some more room to promote some up and comers.

I agree, I was just naming this years squad with who we have signed and lost for next year, that has been confirmed (aside from Mini) ;-)

Generally it takes a year to shake off an ACL injury. I think Tedesco will see a lot of NSW Cup/Toyota Cup in 2013, then in 2014 might get eased back into first grade. I don't see what harm can be done having him learn from Minichiello, if he becomes half the player Mini was in his heyday I'll be happy.

Would be happy if we kept Bell at lock for the remainder of the year, even when Ellis returns.

I'm with you there. He's only played one game there, but he is the sort of player whose best and worst games aren't a gulf apart so I'm willing to bet he go on to give a similar showing there for the rest of the season.

Mini will be singing a one year deal to finish at the Roosters before taking up a develop position at the Roosters- JBL signed on again too so he wont be going to your club either- keep your hands off Kane Evans too

Tigers already bought the Rooster's worst player(Anasta).

Trying to sign the other half of the dead weight that is dragging the young team down (Mini).

Mini is an Easts legend, but try to think back to the last time he manufactured a line break on his own ? I bet you can't.

Wests Tigers are well and truly the new transit lounge, taking over from Souffs.

Skrep,
I know you are only trolling, with those profoundly intelligent comments that you made. But I can't resist feeding the troll.

I'm pretty sure I saw Mini manufacture a beautiful line break 1.5m from the St merge tryline when he took the ball from no-neck BmOzdIdDy shoop shoop. :D

Anasta is just what we need, good kicking game and good football brain, it will let Marshall do what he dose best all the off the cuff stuff and leave Farah and Anasta to run the team. As for Mini, dont need him or should I say what money we have left must be directed at the forwards

Anasta hasn't been the dominant kicker in years. Pearce has.

In fact, Anasta's only dominant strength is his kick-offs.

He will be one of your worst buys Tigers fans.
