Hahaha thank you AFL. You can keep your smelly Etihad Stadium for your silly little game that is not played outside Australia.
The FFA and the Aus Govt will move the games to Sydney and build us a new stadium, we will get to see all the really good games, the dumb Victorians can go and get stuffed because Sydney FC are the Champions and the Premiers and your soft Arche has done his knee and Kevin musCAT is a big sooky girl who can't take penalties

Lots and lots and lots of Parra fans in the Blacktown area. I think if we had a stadium there, we could average 18000 easily.

An FFA spokesman said:''FFA's preferred option is a new stadium at Blacktown, rather than a redevelopment at Homebush. Blacktown, not Homebush, will be listed as one of Australia's 12 stadiums.''
Who said that? Quote the person please, because that is just rubbish. The reason it's rubbish is the following:

Sydney would have three World Cup venues - ANZ Stadium at Homebush Bay, the Sydney Football Stadium and the Blacktown site - compared with Melbourne's sole site, the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Nonsense. FIFA rules are that you are only allowed two stadiums in any one city.

then why dont they come to parra stadium its not that far from blacktown surely?

No, but its far enough. Im a die hard so ill go pretty much anywhere in the state, but for the general RL fan (which Blacktown are choc full of), they would rather get a quick cab ride or even walk to the ground.

Just head to Westfields in Blacktown, in the off season its RL everywhere, mostly Parra.

Apparently, the FFA bid will try and get Sydney and West Sydney to be considered as seperate cities. Not sure how that will pass.

I wouldn't want to move full time from Parra....but taking blockbuster games out to a 40k stadium at Blacktown rather than to ANZ would be fantastic IMO. Preserve a home advantage, but allow for 30k crowds at games against the Dogs, Manly, Dragons etc. Would also be great for derby's with Penrith.

That said, I could care less about the soccer world cup and whether or not we get it, so whatever

I still think that if you believe that you can get off the M7 and drive straight in you will be in for a shock. Especially if the game is near capacity.
