8 straight losses.
0-4 for the season. I can't recall that happening for as long as I have been following rugby league.

A game plan so uninspiring, we are actually coached to lose.
We are dead last and exactly where we deserve.
Can anyone tell me how hit it up and then bomb, then repel in defence is supposed to beat any opposition.

That was an opposition today that welcomed us to take the match, and our team shows absolutely nothing.
We stand still from about 50-60th minute. That's the pattern now for St George Illawarra.

The squad assembled is a bunch of misfits and has-beens, and we simply need to go in a whole new direction.
A horrible game of footy and we are a dismal excuse for a rugby league team.

Agreed BigRedV. Our game plan is terrible. Poor old Flanno is playing a game plan about 20 years out of date. The 6 again rule has sped the game so much that it's almost become "tag" footy. We are probably the biggest team in the game, but we're are probably the slowest as well. As Maverick would say "I feel the need, the need for speed". We better be careful; we might not win a game this season if this "regime" of Flanagan, Ennis and Young continues. There is a complete absence of spontaneity in the game. We have a #6 playing #7, a #6 who is beyond limited. We simply do not play modern rugby league. I'm not one for mid season coach sacking/change, but I think we are at that point now. Right now!

Think you've summed it up perfectly there.
I was struggling to put my finger on it but you are right - it's not in line with the modern game.

Flanagan will live to see another day if my feeling is correct.
I don't get joy out him being sacked but I also cannot see how we win a game. As I said, Bulldogs, Parra, Storm too offered us ways to win, and Titans put it on a platter for us...then that depressing feeling came over the match as it has every game the last couple seasons, and you just knew...
Flanagan, providing he gets the chance, better change up the game, bring in some second phase play, a few more mobile forwards which I'm sure we can muster even if they are green. Drop Gutherson first of all.

I regret everyday supporting this club
I hate this club
I despise this club
I hate the players
I hate the board - I hope they all die
I hate this forum
I watch this team with a bucket next to me - and on every 5th tackle I just spew over and over and over
Then I drink my own spew just so I can hate this club more
I hate the fans
I hate myself

Man it's getting tough BigRedV! I agree that Gutho needs to be dropped; but he won't be. He's lost all speed and has little too no impact. What do they say, the darkest time is before the dawn? Well it's pitch black at my place at the minute. Ok, here is my team for the next game (1. Sloan (what am I thinking) 2. Setu; 3. Suli; 4. Fale; 5. ?; 6. Atkinson (he's a running half); 7. Reed; 13. Holmes (I know WTF, just think his first 10 meter speed might be useful in the middle of the park); 12. S'ua; 11. Stewart (I want to see him running one place wider in attack); 10. Lawrie (I've hated him for 5 years as a player, but he's lost some weight and is having a dig); 9. Cookie; 8. Gueler ( I know) 14. Liddle; 15. Sele ( I like his leg drive); 16. LPT (we're going to come last so at least get some game time into him); 17. Halangahu ( re LPT). I get it that this probably looks ridiculous, but I'm trying to think outside the square and get a team on the park to play some footy.
