A new statistic to add

After watching the Souths/Titans match yesterday, they need to add a new stat to the current list. Forget time in opposition half etc, how about

Bad decisions by the video ref.

It was a truly awful exhibition. That bloke should give himself an uppercut. Even the Souths coach was bemused!!!

 

[The Engineers Room]

The no try where O'Dwyer pushed in the back was the right decision. You aren't allowed to push in the back.

The try where the Souths guy gets a hand on the Burgess cross field kick was a bad decision but the pass from Sutton was passed back and then bounced forward which is fine.

So who decides that they are bad decisions because the channel 9 commentary team has shown time and again that they don't know the rules and can't grasp simple ideas. Example yesterday was Phil Gould and his the sun on the SE corner. As long as the grounds are near enough to the same longitude they sun would set the same. And he is supposed to be the "expert" commentator.
