What happened to Pensky and Ganassi racing? They used to be powerhouse teams, but they don't even seem to be racing in the series anymore? Add team Kool Green to the equation, where have they all gone?

Alot of teams and most of the top drivers jumped ship to IRL. Something similar will happen in F1 as well very soon I feel.

well if champ car sucks, so must the irl because they try and steal their events, teams etc, unimagintive bunch
