FMD!! I look like the youngest one there !! Classic pic from around the forum meet up days. Few posters still posting today in this pic.

Well there you go. I spent more time in Frenzy’s company than I remember.
This is at Macca’s place post-Peach/Stevo farewell.
It’s also the last time I was really drunk. Not surprised I don’t remember it.

Put myself through hell that weekend and swore I’d never spend another minute of my life with a hangover.

I’ve kept my word on that one.

Sorry about the youngest one there thing haha, or should I have waited for you to clip me on it? Chili, what happened to him? He was a good lad.

Yeah I nearly called you on that haha.
Chilli I see on Facebook every now and again.
Not sure what he's up to, aside from being a dad and playing the odd gig.

Hi all, I’m Frenzy’s brother in law and was on the forums as Mako for a fair time so know many of the names here!

Im sitting here with my wife (Matt’s big sister) and reading what everyone has said. A few years being shed. He loved this group and the people in it (mostly lol). More he respected you and your opinions (especially when it aligned with his 😁).

we just wanted to jump on and say how much joy this group brought to Matt and to say thanks for all the kind words.

Once we have details of funeral arrangement we will get them to you, probably via Miller.

We are devastated but comforted by the outpouring of affection from everyone.

thanks

Mako and Frenzy’s Sis

Once again so sorry for your loss. I think the number of posts in here shows how much Matt was respected. I hope you are both doing as well as you can

Really nice tribute on the Sharkcast by Sammy and K.
Well done fellas.
It was way harder than I thought. I was pretty sure I wouldn't shed a tear because I really wanted to express what a good sounding board a legit friend despite it being online but I was wrong. Got me as soon as we started but I just tried to pull it together. It was the first time I spoke about it out loud besides mentioning it to my wife around the house. She knows about this realm but she doesn't get it which I totally understand nobody does unless you were drawn to this weird world. I was like 14 when I found the first Sharks forum on our official website so it has been a sort of normal part of checking in. I was out of the area and didn't know anyone to talk Sharkies about. Even my great mate Sammy I think was a bit shocked by how it hit me lol but loved his NYC story. Nothing was planned just tried to talk about it. I will really miss my mate who truth be told despite talking for years I bloody met once lol. I have been blessed with my career and remember having a laugh with Frenz at one point about life and he told me he always liked me because I was such a smart arse and knew I'd be successful. That comment years ago still sits with me in appreciation.

Also Taite who passed was 38/39, another diehard and has a daughter under 2. We are doing some fundraising as I believe he was the main income provider but regardless a young family is now missing their man. I think the biggest thing that hits me is if you told both of them they wouldn't see round whatever this is back in jan/feb it would be unbelievable. Taite passed the day before a Sharks game, Frenzy right on game time. Both posted on the day of passing. The game and the club will go on but it is special because of how we are all connected to it. As I say often on Sharkcast - if the Sharkies was a female all our mates would say f**king leave!

Great to see Mako back. Haven't seen that name in a long time! Hopefully this shitbox of a club puts it together and gives us all something to smile about soon.

We listened to the pod and we heard your voice. We were genuinely touched mate. Thanks.
