A question for the Moderators ...

I was wondering about what sort of threads that one can start here.
The reason I ask is, on the WORL site, they have a Social Bar which I noticed people started threads that didn't reallycontain alot talkabout Rugby League, or even sports in general, which I quite enjoyed reading many of. To me, it just seemed like a fun area where people could ask all sorts of questions, and disscuss various topics about everyday things.
The reason I ask this is I don't see it, a Social Bar,on this Forum.
I'm not talking about postinganything of an adult (xxx) nature, or Who is the hottest player, but more along the lines of Trivia, Jokes, Quizes andthose types of topics.
I'm sorry if it's a stupid question, or if I'm out of line by asking it, but it something that interested me.

I have no problem with that. It's actually something I never eally thought of but I agree with you, it would be a good idea.

Actually reservoir, seeing as though you made the suggestion would you like to come up with a suitable name for the social bar.......i.e Cheers etc...Just let me know and I'll put it up for you.

Well you can call it Social Bar, but if you want to stay away from the name thatWORL uses, how about Social Lounge. I'm not really good with these things, so please take some other suggestions from some of the members who might have a better name.
But I do appreciate the kindness.

I think Bronco's post " When we were Kids" has shown that ice breakers are pretty good for any forum. However, I did notice that the Social Bar soon lost it's appeal and is rarely visited now.
That doesn't mean it won't work here. Perhaps, it's something to with the name.
I suppose'The Firkin' Good Time - Bar and Grill' is out of the question?

Willow, sometimes the footy talk can come a bit tedious and i think a section like the social bar is a great place for people to take a break and refresh themselves.

Why not call it 'JUST FOR FUN'.
Short, descriptive and allows for anything from quizes to stories to chit chat.
