Look although he doesn't explicitly state his intentions I think its pretty obvious that big Paul is willing to make a challenge for Sheens' coaching job.
He provides several advantages over Sheens:
(1) A player coach- As rare as hens teeth these days- I can only think of Shane Warne with the Rajasthan Rooters.
(2) He has led a team to more recent GF success.
(3) He has no connection to the Panthers, which rules out the possibility of nepotistic adquisition and promotion of old Panther pals.
(4) He has experiencing coaching in the hardest competition in the world (just ask Geordie Peats) and manages to get the most out of his players many who have had a tendency to go walkabouts.
