"A team that wants to play together"

This comment was attributed to Trent Barrett in Friday's telegraph Re: Building next years team.
Is this being opposed to this years team, who don't want to play together??

I'd like to see the entire article.
It's no secret that this year hasn't lived up to expectations.
No proper home ground, the team 'name' which has more characters in it than some Welsh villages and the apparent devaluing of the club's history are just some of the contributing factors.
Ibelieve these things actually have some effect on the players.
They seem to respect their coach but a few players want to go off on their own tangents. Andrew Hart would be the best example of this.
But there's no profit in pointing the finger.
Give us a home ground, call the team St George and re-establish the history as beginning in 1921 and I think you'll find a renewed of pride coming back into the club.

Willow i've just checked www.dailytelegraph.com.au and they don't have the article there, and i can't seem to find my copy at home here anywhere.
It was in the League Liftout of Friday's paper, in that section where some journalist interviews a player/coach each week. Adam Hawse i think.
Anyway the interview was with Trent this week. If i find the paper here i'll post it for you.
The question directed at him was about recruitment next year, and he basically said that they're focussing on retaining a good core of young players that want to play together, much like Parramatta.
It's good in theory

Oh ok, Thanks if you find it, but I think you've covered it well.
I kind of think that we need to get this year done with first but it's good to see next year's issues being addressed now.
