no.

he made a comeback in pl after a long stint in the sidelines and played for 20 minutes where he scored a try and absolutely brained them with half a dozen hitups and then came off clutching at a shoulder where it appears he needed a shoulder reco.

if Az stays on the field he'd be coming off the bench in first grade imo.

i know his out with a soulder injury,

Various injuries this year have hampered him however he dislocated his shoulder in his return game earlier in the season and needs surgery that will rule him out until next year again. Very disappointing to as his size would have been valuable around now. Very disappointing for Azza as he has worked hard to get back on the field and had a very good game before hurting himself.

Agree, with FFMM's fitness improving to the point that he can now go hard for 20 mins, he can claim that starting jumper in the engine room as his own for keeps. A fit Cannings will cause huge Fui type damage coming off the bench in 07. Fingers crossed anyway.

There is absolutely no doubt about that but will we ever be able to get him fit and well. I personally really hope so but some players are just very injury prone and Cannings may be one of them

Well our management must see something in him if we keep resigning him, I believe the talent is there, its just a matter of his injuries that are keeping him down imo.

Cannings coming on for Fui Fui would be pretty good week in week out.

Well... you can if they are always injured....
I don't knock his potential when fit, nor his ability to be an asset to the club, but if he is always off injured he isnt much use to us
