My mates son plays in the juniors for Brighton, he told me about a month ago that the Bulldogs have signed up the 3 best juniors in their age group 15's (from memory) those juniors were from other teams within the Dragons comp, he also mentioned that the Dragons are looking at making "changes" to keep the better ones from now on, suppose better late then never...

To be honest I didn’t rate Garrick after last year in cc but I definitely can eat my words on him as he has gone from strength to strength wish we would of tried him in fg

It's amazing what solid backing from a proper first grade coach can do.

"The positions yours son, go out there and do your best."

Compare that to our rookie backs that paul switches from side to side, drops one week, only to bring back after he drops the other one etc.

How can a rookie build any sort of confidence when their spot is under threat from our erratic paul?

They simply can't and therefore don't...

Michael, did you know of Aaron before the news ?
Im not being a smartass, just asking.

Seems to me young players come and go, from all clubs, .. but the year we have had has led to extra emphasis now.

If he has been mentioned as a future talent before, some one worth keeping, I havent seen it.
The question is, did Millward know of him?

no..but the Assistant Director of Pathways & List Management Junior Development Manager of Education High Performance Fitness & Skills Coaching General Manager...... Shaun Timmins did

You see... Shaun is about 6 rungs lower of old bays management levels than Millward so the buck stopped with him.

All too late, our pathways system is a mess and clubs not contributing towards our junior development are reaping the benefits.

Millward should be immediately sacked because he has presided over an absolute mess and has demonstrated that he is not up to the job.

The Dogs should have went for their own in Lafai to come back but opted on a 15 year old as a better option. Even they know how bad he is and don't want to go back there.

Rumours on JA that we are making a play for young outside back from another club (who is behind 2 rep quality players),

Speculation it could be Billy Smith from the Roosters (not confirmed - just speculation).

So if this is true (along with the Feagai brothers), we are pretty well stocked for young backs.
