I've found the ABC very slow to respond (if they do at all) to complaints. I've sent a few over the years. The most recent one - about the removal of Qld Cup from ABC2 has never been replied to...

But keep sending them in... Even if they don't get back to you, I'm told they get recorded and audited so if there's enough on the same subject you may see something done.

Other than monday night , when are they at the pagewood hotel?

they work friday night , sat night and sunday.

He (David Morrow) has complained numerous times on air and to management about the continual refusal of News Radio to broadcast RL games into the southern states. It seems ok for News Radio to cover AFL into its non-heartleand areas, but they will not do the same for RL in it's non-heartland areas despite many RL-starved fans complaining.

Not only does the ABC broadcast AFL into QLD and NSW via News Radio, but as we saw last Saturday night, they are not afraid to broadcast AFL matches into RL's alloted time on the main 702 frequency.

Another instance of the Southern code getting a leg up.

Instead of the ABC broadcasting AFL into Sydney every Saturday arvo, why doesn't the NSWRL request a State Cup game be broadcast? After all they call the local AFL comps from SA and WA.

The News Radio thing has been a pet hate of mine for quite a long time,I have written rung and sent e mails to the ABC and been told we don't care.
So untill you can put political pressure on them, look at the AFL fest called off siders, you wont get much done,once again the lack of guts, brains and courage in the NRL is shown

ABC in Melbourne don't even give results in the News.

I've rung up and complained only to be told on air that RL is a minority sport.

What sh*ts me is that the AFL won't even give a league result at all in Melb,while we get AFL score updates ad bloody nauseam in Sydney. Julian Abbott on Saturday night interrupted the league call once every 3 minutes with an Adelaide v Bris Lions update score.

It'd sh*t me more if I actually listened to the ABC on the weekends.
