No,
They let one particular team cheat their way through a decade.
I could hapily tell you a well known story amongst some Richmond people about one particular umpire (Darren Goldspink) and a conversation he had about the chances of Richmond winning games against the Scummers that he would ever officiate in.
There is a reason the turd is known as Cheatspink.
There was a time in the 90's when Richmond people would check the umpiring appointments BEFORE the Tiger ins and outs when Essendon games rolled around, in the knowledge that if that turd was umpiring our chances were very slim of winning the game.
Still to this day one of the Tiger Army chants to the umpires is "You're worse than Darren Goldspink" - No one forgets...
