Same here Johnno. Played my junior football in the Penrith Comp back in the early 70’s and played a few games at the old Penrith Park. They’ve just had the good fortune of having all those good juniors coming through at the same time like the Eels in the 80’s. Good luck to them. Just wished we could get some of that luck.

Hey there Owd, I don't consider myself a "Westie".
as I have previously stated, I've lived all over Sydney, but I cannot handle the Prejudice that it is directed at the people from the west;
they don't deserve it!!!

I can't, or don't understand the antipathy towards the Panthers.
my number one team has always been Saints, but in 65, when I moved out to Emu Plains, the Panthers were, and still are my second team.
and for years, they got flogged, and I saw every flogging.

I have not made any comparison of status of Penrith and anywhere else in my post Sage. I admire the people everywhere no matter where they live or where they are from. I'm just envious of how the Panthers have become so dominant in the past 4 years and those that follow that club are very fortunate now to have such a great team representing the areas out your way. I'm somewhat in the west but because I was born in the St George Hospital and raised for a while in that area, I grew up following the Dragons and remain a die hard fan even though I'm not living in the area.

I want the NRL to be more competitive and see others do well, mainly the Dragons of course. If the Panthers win four in a row, well that would be great but I prefer not to see it and that is my choice.

Agree with other members , cannot for one moment see the Broncos wishing to swap Adam Reynolds for our pea hearted Hunt .

The likes of such a skilful player as Reynolds coming to the Dragons is just too much to expect .

I think Kevy is pretty keen on hunt. Travelled down to his 300 game dinner or is that 200 , I’ve lost interest in him .
I got the vibe Reynolds was a bit worried during the Hunt to Brisbane rumours.
I can’t see Reynolds wanting to leave QLD to come to us though
I am being picky but he made some minor errors in the GF. Kick out on the full, short drop out that resulted in Brisbane try and last drop out that shoukd have been short but was long
still he played on through injury and he helped get them to the GF. Also many around him have lifted since he joined the Broncos. I like him he is class but I don’t see him wanting to come anyway

I feel that you are correct Gardenia , it’s a too big a move for him at this stage of his career. Shame , as I feel that the Dragons - more so our younger halves - would still benefit from his vast experience , even if it was for a season or two .

If Reynolds , was in our side we would have won at least 3-4 more games purely with his game management, whilst the tool we have would be bitching about not being in the GF with the Bronco's. Reynolds was very disappointing in the GF especially given the state of the game in the last 20 minutes.

Reynolds is a premiership winning half who lifted the Broncos from the bottom of the table to the Grand final only to lose by a whisker against a champion team.
I have watched Reynolds carve us up most times over his whole career.
Yes in the last 17 minutes he made some errors but I have watched our bloke for the last six years and his game if full of errors,,poor decision making and a total inability to lead us to victory whence why we have gone nowhere in six years.
You can not put Hunt anywhere near the level of Reynolds except in his large over paid pay packet.

No way will Broncos let Reynolds go, he's the number one reason they made it to the gf, with Kevvie's coaching a distant second. If they did let him go it would be one of the dumbest moves in NRL history.
As for us signing him, haha it's ridiculous to even speculate, wouldn't happen in a million years.
What's Reynold's record against Hunt I wonder ? I'd say it's pretty lop-sided in Reynolds' favour.

Exactly and now on top of that he's a year older, doesn't want to be here, doesn't want to be told where to play or who with. He's still 10 times better than Flannno jnr as a halves or hooker option though.
