Western Bulldogs (too lively for the slow Saints side);
Melbourne (Liked their surge against the Roos, still don't trust Cats);
Hawthorn (Too fast and confident for an ailing Kanga side);
Richmond (In winning form, Bombers just playing out time);
Sydney (Always have the Lions measure);
Adelaide (Should pinch a win in a tight one);
Collingwood (Can't see how Carlton can win it);
West Coast (Freo overdue for a down one, alas).
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Western derby will obviously be the match of the round.

Collingwood gets the nod for 'lock of the round', and hopefully they'll do better than when they carried the tag a fortnight ago.

Dogs- Saints will struggle after last week.
Geelong- Skilled stadium, they will win this one.
Hawthorn- too good for the Roos
Richmond- Essendon are waiting for the Drafts.
Sydney- By a lot, Davis back adds a bit to the Swans side.
Adelaide- But jeez don't be surprised if Port surprise everyone.
CARLTON!- Please, can the Blues do it for me!
West Cost- Match of the round but I think WC'S midfield will win it for them. Judd to go BOG.

Our injury list is longer ... Poor excuse.

You didn't have Fletcher, so Richo has 14 shots at goal?

We didn't have Gaspar, Kellaway or Thursfield ...

Um... come again?

Wanna talk about injuries? I suggest you look at which team has fielded the most players this year.

Great game by the tiges, good to beat Carlton, Essendon and Collingwood :D

Read the herald sun today? Mark Harding (whoever he is) gave Richo the top votes (which he had to really) and then did not give a single vote to any other Richmond player. :x

Hmm... i hate harping on injuries... but really, of the following i reckon at least 6 would be in the starting team:

Daniel Jackson, Darren Gaspar, Nathan Brown, Andrew Kellaway, Danny Meyer, Will Thursfield, Mark Coughlan, Chris Newman, Brent Hartigan, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls, Kelvin Moore (Not to mention Richo, Johnson and maybe Petts all playing with injuries and also Andrew Krakouer picking one up last night)

Oh & for the record. If anyone who watched that game last night wants to justify why Richmond have to wear that new twinkie alternate guernsey in games against Essendon - Then you are quite simply a moron.

I, sitting in the 2nd level of the grandstand, PISSED - Had zero trouble telling the difference between my champion Tigers and those of the Scummer variety.

Richmond do NOT clash with Essendon.

Collingwood this afternoon have been given two goals for free without the ball being bounced.

What an absoloute joke. Those Skunk players were giving just as good as they were getting and Goldspink gifts Collingwood two goals?

Okay, final back online after a four day absence.

Freo, in sensational form (I'm hoping they can keep it going) and wasn't it fantastic to see them pummel their obnoxious cross-town rivals.

Carlton, Essendon, the Kangaroos & Brisbane are all clearly living for the final siren next week to put this season behind them.

I didn't see the other sides, but did watch the Kangaroos game and they were especially poor. Never thought I'd see a game where a side failed to kick a goal across the final 3 quarters of a game. It was hardly one for the highlights reel, with Hawthorn also failing to impress, although the final margin did flatter the blue & whites. Best wishes to Jade Rawlings on his retirement.

The Cats vs Demons game must have been exciting at the finish. Geelong will rue not getting the crucial extra 2 points although, frankly, they'd be hard pressed beating Hawthorn fullstop next week, much less thumping them by enough to overtake the Bulldogs % figure. At any rate, I expect the Hounds to roll Essendon, so it will probably be a moot point.

Great effort by Port Adelaide, and I'm willing to draw a line through Adelaide here and now. They'll be up against it next week and will most likely bow out of the finals in straight sets.

9 goals by Richo makes for a happy Tigers camp and they'll be keen to get at the Eagles next weekend, with the reigning Grand Finalist's sure to be bruised and vulnerable after yesterday's touch-up.

An interesting finals series coming our way methinks.

All WA Grand Final is a near certainty now and as predicted by yours truly at the beginning of the season ... Fremantle will win the premiership.
