& think just because the game started in victoria they have a god given rite 2 host the gf & nothing will change that

100% spot on. It's our game.

You cannot possibly draw a paralel between the AFL GF and the Superbowl ... We are not america, stop trying to americanise our games. The VFL/AFL Grand Final is Melbourne's game and as much as the AFL would like to play it at Telstra Stadium it will always remain so.

It may be a national game but without Melbourne the game would be nothing, we are the games heart and soul, not these franchises that have sprung up over the last 25 years.

I would assume all Melbourne hotels/motels/doss houses/caravan parks would have been booked out zonks ago.

Now is our cities test thoough, if 100,000 don't show up to watch the parade on Friday then we are a disgrace.
