Yeah...unless he proves me wrong, matt will struggle to make 1st grade unless he bulks up alot or hits above his weight, which at the moment dosent.
But on the other hand, Kris....from what i heard, he has an amazing similarity to the way fitler moved across the field.

I agree mate, I honestly can't see Matt stepping up. I think we will have to resort to using Finchy.

I guess that was the beauty of having Morris.

well i would bet that finch is to be ruled out and blake to the 6
they would not use blake to play hooker no chance!
however they may give PJ a rest and finch to hooker and green to 5/8

The advertiser did say that both Finchy and T are in doubt and Hages would make a decision on them today.

PJ wasnt training he had a ice pack on his knee and his ankle. Moi Moi looks like he is ready to go so with cayless, Inu was training with the team at fullback........

I'd be interested to see how Burt would go as the impact hooker off the bench (also capable of giving any of the outside backs a spell if required). He's low to the ground, quick out of dummy half, has a good pass and a good long-kicking game. With other players close to the ruck able to help him in defence, I think he could make quite a fist of that role, and it allows us to have a backline of Inu, Hayne, Benny, Tahu, Grothe.

Me too, Burt does play a minor hookign role now and then and is great from dummy half.

His passing from dummy half is the only concern, on occasions it is pretty terrible. If PJ is also injured we need atleast one proper Hooker in the team and Keating or Storer would need to be given a go......

defence in the front line would be a problem
