Yeah I meant to say returning. He retired in late 2008 due to his drug problems (pain killers). Both him and Gallows are tag team specialists, so it'd make sense to have them as Punk's henchmen and wrestle as a tag team, while Punk chases the World title.

jc - I never said Miz was weak on the mic. I said he was good if not great. He's definately one of the most improved wrestlers on the roster.

Mis - Did you catch any of the promo's? They finally gave MVP a character again after years of doing nothing with the guy. The RR match was a dissapointment but I for one thought it was a very solid feud.

Sheamus - Terrible decision to push him so soon. I am mystified as to why he carried the title through Royal Rumble. I wouldn't mind him feuding with Christian for the ECW belt- but having him hold any other heavyweight title is very premature. I hope his disappears into the top of the mid-card for a while.

The Miz -Decent mid-carder. Doubt he can go much further.

The Show - WWE forgot how to do the Giant thing years ago.

John Cena - I really don't know what they are trying to achieve with him. One minute he is the champion; the next he is the jobber to the champion. Getting better in the ring, but has a lot to be desired.

Degeneration X- Shawn Michaels is probably my favorite wrestler of all time, but he needs to retire. The whole DX thing is past its use by date and HHH needs to go solo again.

Orton- a great heel. The whole predator, opportunist thing is a great gimmick (for lack of a better word).

Dibiase and Rhodes- still don't know what they are trying to with them. I thought they would fare better in the Rumble than they did. I think they need some new persona and a decent push to see whether they fly or die.

Swagger- good mid-carder; potential to rise a bit higher.

MVP- love his music and pyro- that's it. He is useless.

Henry needs to be buried.

Kofi Kingston- over-achieving mid-carder. Not that I mind that.

Sheamus - originally i was okay with his push... but as times gone on his faults are really starting to stand out. im thinking he should drop the title in the elimination chamber and maybe start a big Mania feud with a HHH or a Big Show.

The Miz - hes not too bad... i wish they would make him look stronger though... i would like him to build a dominant reign as US champion.. not a weak disco inferno reign like they seem to do with most heel champs these days.

Big Show - abit annoyed theve split him from Jericho... i thought Jeri-Show was a wicked tag team. but i think he a meaningful feud with someone... maybe HBK.

John Cena - he seems in limbo at the moment... i think we can tell there going for the Batista feud leading to Mania... but like the others in here i would love to see him go Heel... bring back that wanksta swagger he used to have. of course they wont go there because he sells far too much merchandise as a face. but i agree that now that they have turned him back into a human being hes been much easier to watch.

DX - f**k off now!! and take your midget with you!! well dont f**k off... just disband and do something meaningful with your considerable talents... but yeah... the midget can f**k off!!

Orton - the best Heel on raw... the Viper is wicked. for mine hes the perfect example of a bloke who has next to nothing on the mic but it doesn't hold him back. his body language and mannerisms just do it all for him. id like him to have a brutal feud with Ted Jr.

Swagger - is wasted at the moment jobbing for everyone. he might need to look at a new gimmick

MVP - needs a heel turn... im so sick of his 'i dont hide my past... i paid my dues to society' feuds.

Kofi - i like where hes going... but i just think hes run out of credible dance partners at the moment... i dont think he could go back to feud with someone like swagger as it would waste his progress. he needs to feud with a HBK. maybe even MITB... a wonderful match with HBK at Mania could push him to the next level.

just on Shelton Benjamin... surely his problem is more than just his ability on the Mic... they can get past a poor talker in a million different ways... usually by giving him a mouthpiece. i get the feeling his biggest problem would be his attitude. id love to see him as a leader of a faction... with a mentor of sorts taking most of the mic. i dont know if the WWE would want to release him though... hes got that much in-ring ability... if TNA could somehow figure out how to get the best out of him he could really hurt the WWE.

Nothing annoys me more in Wrestling than the flogging of a dead horse.

Degeneration X is a dead horse.

The longer it gets flogged, the more tarnished its members become.

I'm sick of Hornswoggle and HBK needs to retire sooner rather than later. HHH desperately needs to break free to preserve his career.

Now it's time to shine a light on...

Smackdown.

Now truth be known I've rarely cared for this brand. I don't know what it is exactly but I've always felt it's been the 'B' show and the writers haven't gone out of their way to attract viewers. Yes the wrestling is generally good but the storylines are all worn and stale.

The brand needs to be revitilised. If it was up to me, I'd put all my eggs into one basket. I'd send all the diva's to Raw, and send all the cruiserweights and tag teams to Smackdown. However, that's just my opinion.

On the current roster and storylines...

The Undertaker - Is the best character and big man of the sport. No other wrestler his size has been able to last as long as him and still be able to put on the calibre of matches the phenom is capable of. While that is all well and good, he shouldn't be the World Champion, he doesn't need it at this point and instead should be off feuding with somebody in the wake of Wrestlemania (and don't give me Shawn Michaels, nobody cares to see that match outside of the Hickenbottom family). If it was up to me, I'd cut his limited schedule down even further to the point he only works 3 Pay Per View's a year.

As for the streak...yes it should be ended but no, nobody on the roster is qualified at this stage to do it. I have to laugh at all the fools who wanted Ted Dibiase Jr. to break it. What a slap in the face that would've been. Or Edge which would've been just like WCW 1998 with Nash defeating Goldberg.

US Champion Drew McIntyre is a good choice, I just wish there was more doing in that division. Having to have old man Kane step down and feud with you is pretty embarrassing given there's a number of stars on Smackdown to feud with.

Jericho and Punk. Goes without saying but they're awesome. Both should be so much higher than where they are.

Mysterio - Didn't care for the guy from about 2004 onwards but last year was an awesome year from Mysterio. He really took it back to his heydays in WCW with some phenomenal matches that really got people to care about guys like Ziggler and Morrison. Can't stand his logic defying finisher, nor his mic. skills or even his theme music but as an in-ring competitor, I must say I'm converted, I'm a fan.

Batista, Kane, Kahli - All need to go. Batista's time has come, he can give back to the company and leave. The Kane character needs to put his boots up and retire, let him come in and cameo at a Rumble or something. Kahli has grown tolerable, but there's nothing more for him, let him be.

Actually add Matt Hardy to that list, he's been coasting on his ex's and brothers overness for far too long.

Hart Foundation - Too green at this stage. Kidd is fine but doesn't have a great look, while Davey has the look but isn't good in the ring.

The rest goes without saying.

Smackdown has been the superior Brand for about 12 Months now.

The only thing hurting it is Batista, but I am hoping he heads back to Raw again.

Some of the Smackdown matches last year were awesome.

Morrison vs Rey for the IC belt was a f**ken ripper, as was the Punk vs Hardy cage match.

CM Punk is the WWE at the moment, I would like to think more cruiser weights would head over to Smackdown as well, Bourne in particular.

Smackdown has a lot less rubbish as well, having a decent GM in Teddy Long helps, but FFS get rid of Vicki.

Undertaker's reign is getting stale. I am a fan of his, but I must say, he sucks being the hunted, compared to being the hunter. Should drop the belt at EC, or Backlash (he won't lose it at Mania).

Punk and Jericho are the best heels in the company, Punk just knows how to piss people off, and Jericho, is just awesome Jericho, like he always is. I love Punk's society, it just needs another member or 2.

Truth's entry is starting to annoy me, although seeing goofy kids try and dance to it is funny. I am a fan of his though, should have a decent IC title fued soon.

Morrison is good to watch in the ring, but his mic skills are lacking (Miz really made him look good there). Morrison should turn heel again soon (maybe after cashing in MITB), change the name Starship Pain to something that doesn't sound like it was thought of by a 12 year old raanga kid who plays Dungeons and Dragons 30 hours a week, and also bring back the moonlight drive.

Rey, another I am a fan of. He can't carry an ordinary wrestler, but when he's against someone who has decent wrestling ability he puts on a great match (Jericho, Morrison etc). Probably won't get the title again, but can put over some young guys.

Kane is well, Kane. Never really does much, but every young superstar has a fued with him somewhere down the line it seems. Wouldn't mind seeing him have a month or two with the main belt, but it just won't happen.

I think the WWE really dropped the ball with Ziggler, he has a lot of potential but when Rey left, he didn't get the push he deserved. Had some great matches with Rey, but then just sort've collapsed in a heap, got a few shots at Morrison but Morrison had to go over him.

Drew McIntyre is one I don't get a lot of the hype around. He is solid, but not worth having the IC title after 2-3 months in the company. We all know why he is getting his monster push.

Batista makes baby jesus cry.

Khali makes batista look decent.

The Hart Dynasty need to do something, that isn't facing Cryme Tyme, and isn't jobbing to Khali/Hardy.

Matt Hardy should just follow his brother, honestly, he isn't going to do much else with the WWE anymore, since his brother is viewed widely as the better of the 2, and he's in TNA. If Matt does leave, he'll be buried in the process though.

Cryme Tyme are woeful. Their gimmick is the only reason they have their head above the water. I can't believe they got a gig at Summerslam last year.

Divas, Mickie is good, as are Natalya and Beth. Michelle only got her belt because of who she's dating, Layla is terrible (although she's freakin hot), Maria is even worse.

Undertaker- thanks for the memories- time to go. Drop the belt at Elimination Chamber; win another match at Wrestlemania on the house and say goodbye the next week

I am the minority- but I hate Punk. Not because he is a good heel, which I can see why people think that. But when he comes on the tv, I want to turn the channel.

Jericho is awesome- I think he will be the champion going into Wrestlemania

R-Truth's entry is starting to annoy me too- I don't get why the WWE does African Americans so terribly- either they have no persona (like Shelton Benjamin or Elijah Burke) or they overdo it (like Crime Tyme and R-Truth). Great talent though.

Morrison- meh

Rey- over rated. We've seen what he's got and it is entertaining. Never should have been more than an IC champ.

Kane- time to go
